RISE COMPANIONS (3) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish second over 1200m at Pukekohe. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. RUN DON'T WALK (11) started at $6.30 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 7 lengths at Matamata over 1400m after being in contention on the corner. Steps up a level but she is worth another chance. COMPULSORY (1) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1150m at Te Aroha. Can figure in the finish again. DEEP PURSUIT (4) was beaten 9 lengths into eighth in a 1400m contest at Matamata at his latest appearance. Nicely placed to find some form.
