Steps up a level but he is good enough to take this out. KIND WORDS (7) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Scone over 1700m, beaten a nose. Should be at her peak now. Meets a much tougher line-up this time but should be in the finish. GENTILESCHI (14) was narrowly beaten into second when second up last start at Scone over 1700m. Back-marker who keeps coming. Will be picking them up late. CORMAC T (8) built on a nice third when fresh from a spell two starts back at Canterbury with a win over 1700m at Scone two weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Finds a suitable race and can make it back-to-back successes.
