IMPENDING DIAMOND (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over 1100m at Oakbank, beaten 7 lengths into tenth. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. CROWN MOSHE (11) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, last start over 1100m at Oakbank. Another bold showing is expected. RODNEY (3) was in the money two starts back at Broken Hill but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at Balaklava over 1050m. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
