IT'SBRUCE (2) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by a head over 1350m at Strathalbyn. Fitter for that last hitout and looms as the one to beat again. CHARLESFORT (15) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 41 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when tenth over 2028m at Morphettville, beaten 9 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. BANGERANG REDBACK (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Balaklava, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth. Finds the right race this time and can find winning form. LITTLEBITCHEEKY (11) accounted for a maiden field over 1620m at Donald last start, finishing a nose ahead of the nearest rival. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
