HOT STRUT (7) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1400m at Oakbank. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. SAINT BOOM (12) turned in a nice run last time to finish second over 1400m at Balaklava. Tackling a more suitable race so she is all set to build on that latest effort. TOFINO (5) finished third first-up at Murray Bridge then couldn't repeat the dose last time when fifth at Penola over 1400m when beaten 9 lengths. Suited here and can feature with even luck. MIMETIC DESIRE (8) was beaten 4 lengths into fourth in a 1430m contest at Naracoorte three-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed to turn things around.
