Likely contender with strong prospects. BARCELONA (16) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at Ellerslie, finishing third and only 1.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m. Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves plenty of thought. TAKEACHANCE (15) was below her best last time when ninth over 1600m at Ellerslie, beaten 10 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but she is up to the task. LIVE ON AIR (20) finished third at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1600m at New Plymouth Raceway, finishing 6 lengths back in seventh. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
