TRISTAR (1) was well supported when resuming last time out over 1200m at Trentham and proved too strong, scoring by a neck. Will be better for that latest run and looks sure to be in the finish again. HONEY BADGER (2) finished fourth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 8 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn over 1215m at Arawa Park. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. PLEASING (3) built on a nice second two starts back at Wanganui with success over 1200m at Hawera three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form she is capable of another big performance. BRAZEN AFFAIR (4) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 970m at Cambridge Synthetic, beaten a neck. Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise.
