ALASHOS (4) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1200m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. TROPICAL HEAT (1) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fourth in a 1200m contest at Windsor three-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. BIG APPLE JACK (2) is a four-start maiden who finished third over 1000m at Redcar last time out after he worked home well. Ideally placed to break the ice. LYRA CONSTELLATION (3) was below her best last time, finishing 13th and beaten 14 lengths over 1408m at Fairyhouse. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
