PENDRAGON (1) recorded a strong maiden win over 2400m at Ripon last time, getting there by 4.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Winning rider Shane Kelly stays aboard and he is sure to go well. HI YA MAL (2) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 2800m at Sandown Park, beaten one length. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ICE JET (4) was strongly fancied when third last time over 2400m at this track when he did his best work late. Can do much better. DANCING TIGER (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at Goodwood, beaten 6 lengths into seventh. No surprise to see him in the mix.
