ANNEXATION (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when fifth in a 2000m contest at Leicester two weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MEET ME IN MERAKI (5) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 2000m at Lingfield, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Worth noting George Downing goes aboard. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. BEARWITH (2) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at Leicester, beaten 3 lengths into fourth. Well placed to turn things around.
