GRAND DE LAGO (3) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 1.4 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1000m at Emerald. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. PESHWA (4) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1200m at Flinton when he was prominent throughout. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. LEGEND OF ZORRO (5) got a long way back when 5.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1600m at Rockhampton last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Roma the run before. The engagement of Chloe Lowe is noteworthy. This doesn't look as hard so he is likely to play a big role. ZOFFANY'S GAZE (6) never got into the race when eighth last time at Rockhampton on a soft track but drops in weight for this. Rates highly on best figures and has the blinkers removed. Should be in the finish.
