OTAGO (15) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw when resuming last time out then found the line strongly to grab second over 1400m at Flemington. Strong effort last time and is worth following up. ROADCONE (19) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Echuca with success as favourite over 1400m at Pakenham two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4.5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to cope. RESET THE JAZZ (14) has been mixing his form recently including last time out when he was well held over 1600m at Caulfield. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Should be involved in the finish. RUAKAKA RAIDER (17) returned from a break with a solid fifth, winding up late at the end of 1600m at Caulfield after settling well back. One of the main contenders.
