BOLD SOUL (9) resumed over 1600m at Caulfield where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish sixth, beaten 2 lengths. Well placed and the one to beat. FORGOT YOU (2) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh over 1400m at Caulfield. Strips fitter and can go on to take this out. MAKRAM (6) was sent out at $31 last time but ran above expectations and won over 1600m at Flemington. Among the main hopes. ARRAN BAY (1) tackled stakes class last time and not disgraced when second over 1600m in the G3 The Cummings Stakes at Morphettville. Extra journey a plus now and can sneak in the finish at odds.
