MATRON SAMSING (8) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff she finished fourth over 1600m at Cranbourne. Has trialled two times leading into this. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. MS HUBBLE (9) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Mildura over 1400m. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. CINCINCITY (7) is yet to break through after six starts. Placed two back then last time out was fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1300m at Bendigo. Has the pace to be thereabouts early. Has ability and expected to feature. GIFT (3) was beaten 1.4 lengths into fourth in a 1300m contest at Seymour last time out. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
