SWEATER GIRL (9) stepped out for her debut over 1102m at Stawell back on January 3 and finished fifth, beaten 7 lengths. Expected to be very competitive. BUBBLES TIME (6) is yet to break through after seven career starts. Could only manage to finish fifth last time out over 1500m at Ballarat following a minor placing at Kyneton over 1454m the run prior. Should be in the mix. EXCEED SUCCESS (1) raced below his best last time when seventh over 1421m at Werribee, beaten 7 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to take this out. ASTEROPE (5) was below her best last time, finishing 12th and beaten 19 lengths over 1400m at Mt Gambier. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
TIPS
