AMBER STAR (4) has been primed for a good return after placing in two trials leading into this. Rates strongly and expected to measure up. YAM (3) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a nose away in second over 1400m at Wangaratta. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. LIGHTNING LIZARD (13) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 1.2 lengths back in fifth over 1000m at this track. Racing well without winning and gets his chance to break through. STAR BLAZER (1) last appeared when he finished tenth over 1590m at Wangaratta on December 23. Sure to make his presence felt.
