DESERT OPAL (3) raced on the pace last start and lifted strongly to hold second, beaten a neck, over today's journey at this track. Nicely placed to go one better. BLAZING SWORD (1) has not appeared since he finished fourth over 1600m at Tamworth on March 9. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Tim Fitzsimmons. Should be hard to stop. BROKEN IMAGE (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.2 lengths from the winner in third over 1175m at this track after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. MISHIMA (12) has switched yards since finishing eighth three-and-a-half weeks ago over 1105m at Sale.
