STRINGLINE (7) finished ninth last time out over 2200m at Trentham, beaten 4 lengths. Has a good record at this journey with three wins from nine starts. Ticks all the right boxes. SUNSET BOULEVARD (4) started at $4.70 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, at Wanganui over 2050m. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will prove tough to beat. COMEDY (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 22 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 2200m at Trentham, beaten 9 lengths. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. VERRY FLASH (1) has not appeared since he finished ninth over 2040m at Wanganui on November 23. Worth plenty of thought.
