FLUTTERBELLE (11) broke through for her maiden win over 1400m at Hawera last time, scoring comfortably. Looks well placed and she looks certain to measure up again. KAI MOANA (9) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a spell last time out over 1200m at Hawera, finishing second and beaten one length. Goes up a rung or two but she is worth serious consideration. COLORADO SILVER (10) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Ellerslie over 1600m. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. ANAROA (2) finished third last start over 1400m at Arawa Park, beaten 5 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. In the right race and is one of the better hopes.
