Drawn to enjoy a lovely run so he should pay to follow. MA TE WA (4) has not raced since his debut back on February 14 when he finished fourth over 1400m at New Plymouth Raceway. Expected to be very competitive. TOR MENT TOR (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Hawera, beaten 7 lengths into fifth. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. IT'S AMELIA (7) is a 13-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Woodville. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
