Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. UWASANO DEKOPIN (11) finished fifth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 4 lengths over 1200m at Funabashi. Meeting a deeper field this time but he can go back-to-back. MONDO (9) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at Kawasaki. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. YASUE (1) could only manage to finish eighth, beaten 6 lengths, at her latest appearance over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Expected to feature in the finish this time.
