A'S SPARKLE (12) is back at the races for the first time since August 22. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 2000m at this track. Has ability and should be right in the finish. ROCK FLAVOR (4) is back from a break of ten weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when ninth over 1600m at Kawasaki. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Best figures should see him run well. FORT WILLIAM (2) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when eighth, beaten 7 lengths, over this journey at this track. Nicely placed to make amends. STRONGEST (9) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Kawasaki over 1600m. In the right race and should be about the money.
