SOLDIER BOY (6) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Waverley, beaten 6 lengths. Steps up a level but he is fitter and up to the task. BRADMAN (1) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when fifth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1350m at Wanganui. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. CHANTILLY LACE (4) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1350m at Wanganui after she got a long way back. Has further improvement to come and is expected to do much better. KING OF HEARTS (3) comes here following a win over 1200m at Waverley two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4.5 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
