Christophe Lemaire who has two wins when partnering stays on. Should be in the finish. ELAN (1) came from well back on cornering and hit the line strongly to score over 2000m at Nakayama last time out. Likely to feature. TEIDE (3) is back from a break of four-and-a-half months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when fourth over 1800m at Nakayama. Definite top-three chance. MEINER OCEAN (4) was beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth at the second run back from a break in a 2000m contest at Niigata three weeks ago. Yuji Tannai gets the best out of this four-year-old entire. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
