VIP SCORPION (1) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 5 lengths, over 2100m at this track. Has a solid record here including three wins and four minor placings from 13 outings. Race sets up well for him. KAZU TANJA (10) turned in a fine effort to win by one length at today's course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. COSMO GIN BUCK (12) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Nakayama Dirt two starts back then scored by 3 lengths as favourite last time out over 2400m at Nakayama Dirt. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
