Fair effort last time out when fourth over 2400m at this track, beaten 0.9 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. SPECIAL SWEY (2) settled well back then found the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 7 lengths, over this journey at Pukekohe last time out. Will be putting in the big strides late. QUICK FIRE (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1500m at Ellerslie, beaten 6 lengths into 11th. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
