THE GOOD SHEPHERD (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Ascot Park, beaten 3 lengths into fourth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MASTER MARKO (2) was in contention on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1800m at Riccarton Park after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Won't find this as tough so he is all set to build on that latest effort. CANNY MAN (7) finished 5 lengths adrift in sixth last time at Ascot Park in a disappointing performance. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. EXCHANGE (4) turned things around last start and scored by a neck over 1400m at Wingatui. Finds a suitable race and can feature in the finish.
