VANTAANA (7) made a nice return two starts back then settled well back and found a few when ninth over 1400m at Ascot Park a month ago. Fitter and well-placed to turn things around. THE MOTIVATOR (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 1600m at this track when he did his best work late. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. BLEAKHOUSE BURTIE (1) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing third and beaten 1.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DAVID MOSS (4) was beaten 7 lengths into fourth at the second run back from a break over 1400m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed to make amends.
