CARAVELLA (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Riccarton Park, beaten 3 lengths into eighth. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. MITRE PEAK (8) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a spell last start over 1200m at Ashburton. Should tighten right up following that outing. Yet to miss the placings in three starts over this course and distance. Going well and has strong prospects. TURF WAR (3) resumed two weeks ago over 1200m at Ashburton and was only beaten 0.7 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. MISS BRITTANY (1) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 2.5 lengths over 1200m at Wingatui. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role again.
