ROCA MILE (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when eighth over 2200m at Ashburton four weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. MIRAQUA (3) got well back over 1400m at Riccarton Park last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 10 lengths away in 12th. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat. THE MATADOR (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 1400m at Riccarton Park, beaten 16 lengths into 11th. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders. OUR KIWI GIRL (7) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage tenth over 1600m at Riccarton Park. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
