GREAT ESCAPE (5) gave a great sight last time over 1400m at Trentham when she raced up on the pace and fought on gamely only to be narrowly beaten. Is yet to score this prep but continues to race well, finishing in the placings at all three starts. Bold showing expected. SUMMER BREEZE (11) had a bit on her rivals last time out, scoring an impressive 5.5 lengths maiden win over 1650m at Waverley. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Capable of making it two on the trot. WHOOSHKA (14) accounted for a maiden field over 1600m at Wanganui last start, finishing a head ahead of the nearest rival. This is tougher but she is capable of another big run. MALACCA BAY (2) was beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth in a 1600m contest at Ashburton seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
