DAMIANO (2) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1400m at Waverley. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. MELONI (4) has not raced since being well supported on his debut on February 9 over 1300m at this track when he finished sixth, beaten 5 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
