Finds a perfect assignment and can find winning form. WEOWNARANAWAY (9) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work and looks close to a maiden win, the latest effort a third over 1400m at New Plymouth Raceway. Fitter and should go well. DAMIANO (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5.5 lengths when seventh over 1340m at Wanganui three weeks ago. This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. GEORGIEWOOD (2) was last at the races when he finished 11th over 2200m at Woodville on September 8. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
