Was narrowly beaten at his only appearance when last in work at Naas over 2112m. Under the care of new trainer E Mullins this prep. Ronan Whelan who has three wins when partnering stays on. Among the leading chances. ARTFUL APPROACH (15) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time when beaten 0.8 lengths into second over 1609m at Leopardstown. Can run a bold race. FORT VEGA (10) is fitter for two runs back from a spell, progressing nicely last time to finish third, beaten 2.25 lengths, at Curragh over 1609m. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Not to be discounted.
