EL MERLUZO (10) was far too good first up last start when he scored by 5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and will be a tough nut to crack again. JOSES (6) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1200m at this track, finishing second and beaten 1.5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SHOW PAINT (3) finished seventh two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this track, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. EL GUASON (7) is backing up a week after finishing sixth over 1200m at this track. No surprise to see him back in form this time.
