KING SLAYER (11) started at $1.70 last time but could only manage sixth, beaten 6 lengths, at this track over 1200m. Form here at this trip reads six wins from 11 starts. Sure to run well. LINARIA (7) scored two back at Kawasaki but was below her best last time when ninth over 1200m at this track after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MEISHO POLPO (2) did a great job to score by a head over today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. SAUDADE (9) improved last start when second-up but found one better over 1500m at Urawa, beaten only 1.5 lengths. No surprise to see her in the frame.
