PANTANAL (12) built on a nice third when fresh from a spell two starts back at this track with a win as favourite over 1200m at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is good enough to take this out. ISA CHIL ITOMUSUBI (11) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. LETTER FROM PARIS (10) showed early speed from an outside draw last time then tired over the final stages to finish tenth, beaten 17 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Better than the last run and is among the chances. VINYL (3) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Finds the right race and is worth consideration.
