KALGANOV (1) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when second over 1400m at Redcar. Has been thereabouts without winning and gets his chance to break through. BIRD OF PLAY (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Musselburgh over 1400m. Hard to beat in this suitable race. EVOLUIR (6) produced a better run last start, beaten 5 lengths into fifth over 1200m at Redcar. Has his share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
