SELWAN (5) ran a better race last start when he made late ground to finish a close third over 2200m at Carlisle. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. LAUDABLE (9) missed the placings when resuming at Ayr two runs back then improved last start when he worked home well but found one better over 1600m at Ayr, beaten 3.5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. STELLARMASTERPIECE (8) lines up on the back of a 2.5 lengths fourth over 2800m at this track. Best figures have her right in the mix. RIBBLE RIVER (3) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at Pontefract but disappointed last time when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, at Haydock Park over 2400m. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
