ABOVE THE CLOUDS (1) was given time to settle from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly in the straight for an eye-catching third over 1550m at this track. Will be a major player again. HAYATE (10) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 2000m at this track, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. YOU KNOW (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 2000m after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. BRUCEY LEE (7) turned in another moderate effort last start when 5.5 lengths from the winner in 14th over 1600m at Ellerslie at the second run back from a spell. No surprise to see him in the frame.
