BOOMBOX (9) has not raced since his debut on February 22 over 1100m at Ellerslie when he finished fifth, beaten 4 lengths. Expected to be very competitive. CATOCA (5) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 4 lengths back in second over 970m at this track. Nicely placed to play a major role. PRINCESS ELSA (10) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at New Plymouth Raceway over 1200m. Likely to play a major role. BLUE DENIM GIRL (6) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff she finished seventh over 1200m at Te Rapa. Ran sixth in a recent trial at Te Awamutu. Solid top-three hope.
