SEVE (5) drew a wide gate last start and was never a genuine threat, beaten 13 metres into sixth at Menangle over 1609m. From this far better draw can return to something like his best. LAMANDIER (4) finished ninth last start over 2503m at Gloucester Park, beaten 40 metres, after a good third at Pinjarra the run prior. This doesn't look as hard so he is sure to prove tough to beat. QUADDIE VC (7) has been thereabouts of late and is a great chance to break through. Good effort last time out when he finished fourth at this track over 1609m. TALLULAH LEE (1) finished sixth last start at Listed level in a race won by Eye Keep Smiling over 2270m at Riverina Paceway, beaten 30 metres. Should enjoy a lovely run and looks hard to beat.
