Stepping up a level this time but he is good enough to take this out. BAT MATSON (2) turned in a strong performance last time when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 1609m at this track. Has the benefit of a good draw. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. ROCKTAGONAL (5) is better than his last-start ninth over 2300m at Menangle. POPSTAROMAR (6) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 5 metres at this track over 1609m.
