SMART MOVES (10) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.4 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1457m at Kilmore after being prominent at the turn. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HEEZ DE MAN (4) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when sixth at Mornington over 1200m, beaten 8 lengths. Capable of much more this time. RYANMAN (9) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1450m at Kilmore, beaten just 1.75 lengths. Well placed to run top-three again.
