Boasts strong second-up stats and looks perfectly placed to add to his record. Fitter and expected to go on with it. DUKE OF BEDFORD (5) did fairly well when he finished second (3450m) at this track two runs back. Improved sharply to score a very soft win by 7 lengths last time out (3200m) at Pakenham. Hard to fault on his recent form. FREDDY THE EAGLE (8) opened the campaign with a respectable third on the flat at Ballarat then last start was (3450m) at this track and finished fourth, beaten 3 lengths. Must be respected. HEIR TO THE THRONE (6) is looking to improve on a last-start sixth on the flat over 3000m at Sandown-Lakeside on April 21. Capable of taking this out.
