SPRING PROSPECT (13) took advantage of the good draw and raced on the pace when resuming last start then boxed on well to finish second, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 1000m at Parkes. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. LONDON BOY (4) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to find the placings at Goulburn two starts back before finishing fifth over 1000m at Goulburn last start. Should be in the mix. HOUDINI SPIRIT (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fourth over 1100m at Narromine five weeks ago after being in contention on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. SAINT PHILOMENA (12) is a three-year-old filly who is still a maiden after eight starts but has been in the placings four times. Never a threat when resuming last start over 1000m at Parkes, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in eighth. Expected to do far better this time.
