THE MARINER (3) stuck on well last start to finish second over 905m at Mt Gambier after showing good early speed. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be underestimated. THE LAST JUDGEMENT (1) was comfortably accounted for when 13th last time out over 1100m at Echuca, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at Echuca at the previous outing. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SHIMSHALAR (17) produced a reasonable effort when third last start after being in the firing line on the corner over 900m at Murray Bridge, beaten a nose. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can return to winning ways.
