Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Warrnambool. Winning claims on best figures. THE YACHTSMAN (3) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when tenth, beaten 15 lengths, over 2500m at Pakenham. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. FIORENTE SPRITZ (10) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 18 when beaten 22 lengths into 12th at Balaklava over 2200m. Likely improver who should be competitive.
