PERFECTLY GOOD (4) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Corowa over 1200m after he was in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ELASTANE MISS (3) ran on strongly only to just miss as favourite last start over 1000m at this track. Has race fitness on her side now. Nicely placed to play a major role. CHRISTMAS STAR (2) didn't do a bad job when third last start over 1280m at Canberra Acton, beaten 2 lengths. That followed a win at Canberra Acton the start prior. Taking on a better line-up this time but she cannot be underestimated. SOOBOOGELISCIOUS (8) ran a better race last start, finishing 4.5 lengths away in seventh over 1413m at Sapphire Coast. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
