GENTEEL (2) finished fifth over 1600m at Ararat when resuming last start, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. NOTHINGELSEMATTERS (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when seventh over 1600m at Ballarat a month ago. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. DUSTLAND FAIRYTALE (11) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Kilmore, beaten 4 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. TRACK PATCHER (5) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 1500m at Bendigo. Strips fitter and can play a big role.
